Podiatry & Chiropody

The practice was opened in 2002 by Fenella J Lipkin - SRCh, MChS, BSE.

Fenella qualified from Durham School of Chiropody and Podiatry in 1983 and spent 10 years working for the NHS in Liverpool and Trafford.

She also spent time working in Sydney Australia and Guildford in Surrey in a private practice.

NHS involvement is still held working for Liverpool P.C.T

Fenella has had her own Podiatry / Chiropody Practice in Warrington since 1989 both in Stockton Heath and Daresbury.

Fenella is a member of the Society of Chiropodist and Podiatrists and Health Professions Council (H.P.C, as are all the Podiatrists within the practice).

The Practice has grown over a number of years, which has led to the recruitment of skilled Associate Podiatrists. They are all H.P.C registered.

When the practice is closed the answer machine is on and all calls will be returned on the next working day.

The Staff

Sharon Williams - BSc Hons (pod) SRCh HPC
Sharon joined the team in 2010 and is available for appointments in the clinic and is also able to carry out domiciliary visits.

Sharon qualified with a first class honours degree in podiatry from Salford University and had experience working within the NHS prior to moving to the private healthcare sector.

Sharon enjoys treating general foot health problems, including Diabetic foot care and can provide Diabetic health checks.

Rebecca Nield - BSc Hons (pod) SRCh HPC
Rebecca qualified in 2008 from Queen Margret University in Edinburgh, she moved down to the northwest and has worked for both the NHS and the private sector. During 2011 Rebecca took a year out and worked in Australia for three private practices and this helped her to gain more skills and acquire more experience in a different country. Rebecca now works Fridays and also carries out Domiciliary visits on these days. Her main interest is nail surgery and she hopes to help out with the biomechanics soon.

Matt Allen - BSc Hons (pod) SRCh HPC
Matt graduated in 2007 from Huddersfield University and started work with the Warrington PCT. He has a keen interest in biomechanics and has completed a masters level qualification in orthopaedic knowledge and skills at Salford University. He has worked full time with the NHS, split between Warrington PCT and now as a biomechanics podiatrist with Bolton PCT. He has also worked privately for the last eighteen months.
